A journey from the grey stone Florentine abode, through the cypress trees, to the cobble roads of Pietrasanta. The Swedish archipelago water in her veins. It’s salt, reminiscent of the salmon she paints. She walks from her bed, adorned in cotton, to paint dreams & midnight thoughts. She catches herself in the mirror to paint her back, or she spies her lover to depict a toe, swirling her creatures of sea & forest with the beating heart of femininity.” P. Wynonha.
Nilla started painting from a very early age. With a background in both Fashion and Art, studying in both Sweden and Florence, she had her first solo show in 2020, and has since practiced and exhibited internationally.
